Mackerel has been in short supply with the Newlyn and Mousehole boats struggling to really "kick off" their season this year whilst things have just started to pick up on the north coast for the St.Ives boats. On Newlyn market this morning there was only 6Kg of mackerel landed in total. Things are expected to greatly improve with a slightly better weather forecast for the week ahead.
